The Atlassian Community Pune chapter brought the biggest announcements from Team '26 Anaheim straight to Pune. A full day of sessions on Teamwork Graph, Rovo, AI Ops, Service Collection, Product Collection, and hands-on demos.
Everything you need to know about this event in one quick look.
A full-day event packed with keynotes, lightning talks, workshops, a quiz, and networking — here is the complete timeline.
Attendees arrived at Novotel Pune, checked in at the registration desk, and got their event kits. The Pune ACE chapter registration team — Sachin, Nantushar, Anu, and other champions — managed a smooth entry for 400+ registrations. Tea, coffee, and cookies were served to kick off the energy.
Datta Borude welcomed everyone and set the context: the event was the Pune edition of the Atlassian Team '26 global event that happened last month in Anaheim, California. Moderator Jayesh Baviskar took the stage next to walk through the day's agenda and express gratitude to all attendees, especially those who came in on a Saturday.
The core message was clear: Atlassian co-founder Mike Cannon-Brookes has stated that true business acceleration happens when you "multiply intelligence by context."
Piyush gave a fun, energetic presentation on the Atlassian Community Events (ACE) program. He shared the Pune chapter's growth stats and what it means to be a community champion.
Key numbers shared: 2,400+ members in 2025 growing to 2,860+ in 2026; 400 registered for today alone; 15 events already hosted this year with 8 more planned; 39,000+ page views on the ACE Pune chapter page; 26.7 million unique visitors to community.atlassian.com globally (up 33%); and Atlassian has donated $65K to charity because of community attendance worldwide.
The main session of the morning. Prithwish, Senior PM at Atlassian, presented the biggest product announcements from Team '26 Anaheim covering four major areas: Teamwork Graph (TWG), Code Intelligence in Rovo, Agentic Jira Workflows, and AI Operations in Jira Service Management.
He opened with a key insight: "Intelligence is for sale — you have it, your competitors have it too. What makes your organization unique is your context." This framed the entire session — Atlassian's answer to this is the Teamwork Graph.
Five technology booth partners each took the stage for a crisp 15-minute talk on topics relevant to day-to-day Atlassian work. Hosted by Sachin Dhamale.
Session 1 — miniOrange (Aditya Kekre): "From Manual Chaos to Automated Control" — centralising access requests in JSM, automated provisioning, auditing for AI agents and human users.
Session 2 — Amoeboids (Shruti Darekar): "AI Automation in Action" — ARNR (Automated Release Notes & Reports) app with AI Macro for generating structured QBRs, SLA reports, and executive summaries from Jira data.
Session 3 — ikuTeam (Vivek Bhaira): "The Hidden Cost of Context Switching" — edit Word, Excel, PPT files directly inside Jira and Confluence. Loom integration for contextual analysis of file attachments.
Session 4 — Holograph (Shubham Gosavi & Urnendu Chawan): SaaS License Optimization, Atlassian environment audits, data center to cloud migration expertise. Saved $65K for Hyundai Mobis.
Session 5 — Amrut Software (Danish Koul / Tanish): Digital transformation experts and Atlassian's first partners in India (15+ years). DevOps, ITSM, plugin development.
Attendees received food coupons and enjoyed lunch outside. Five technology booths were set up for demos, deeper Q&A, and swag collection. Speakers Prithwish and Makarand were also available for post-talk questions over lunch. Tip: DM Bibek Behera (ikuTeam) on LinkedIn for swag!
Makarand, Senior PM at Atlassian, presented the second half session covering two major Atlassian collection offerings: Service Collection (JSM, CSM, Assets, Rovo) and Product Collection (JPD, Feedback, Rovo, Pendo integration).
He covered Customer Service Management (CSM) with multi-channel support (email, SMS, WhatsApp, voice), Modern Hardware Asset Management in JSM, Solution Composer for AI-driven JSM setup, Isolated Cloud for enterprise compliance, and the new Feedback product within Product Collection for gathering and synthesising customer insights.
The Williams F1 team case study was a highlight — showing how JSM and AI helped their R&D team track hardware reliability issues and resolve them faster.
ACE Pune champions Anil and Piyush shared how they manage the entire community event process using Atlassian products. This was originally presented at Team '26 Anaheim as a champion workshop and brought to Pune.
They showed a live demo of how JSM, Jira, Confluence, Assets, Rovo, JPD, CSM, Bitbucket, Compass, Loom, and Aligned were all used to manage community events — from speaker sourcing to hotel selection to vendor communication (automated via Rovo) to post-event ROI tracking. The concept: treat your community as a product.
An interactive quiz on Mentimeter covering Atlassian Collections, Teamwork Graph, AI features, and Rovo. 174 participants joined live. The quiz ended with fun sports questions (IPL team sponsorship, Norway Chess winner, FIFA World Cup 2022). Winners received Atlassian certification vouchers. Shivam Gosavi topped the leaderboard.
Datta Borude and Jayesh closed the event with gratitude. Attendees were encouraged to visit booths one more time, use official event photos for social media posts, and tag #AtlassianTeam26 and #ACEPune on LinkedIn. Group selfie led by Piyush followed.
Every major topic discussed through the day — explained simply, with practical context.
The Teamwork Graph is Atlassian's answer to the biggest problem with AI tools — they don't know your team. TWG connects everything: your Jira issues, Confluence docs, Bitbucket code, Slack messages, emails, meeting recordings, Salesforce data, and 300+ third-party tools. It is your organization's complete memory.
It is not just a database — it is a live, semantic graph that understands relationships. It can tell you who worked on a problem before, what decisions were made, what code is involved, and which team owns it.
Rovo sits in the centre of the Atlassian ecosystem. It connects to the Teamwork Graph and can talk to any of your approved LLMs through a secure AI Gateway — so you don't have to worry about data leaking to large model providers. You define the guardrails.
Rovo has a chat interface (like Claude or ChatGPT but with your org's data), a CLI-based interface for developers (TWG command in terminal), and can be invoked through Jira, Confluence, or any connected tool. It also has 340+ commands to act across your Atlassian ecosystem.
One of the biggest announcements from Team '26: Jira tasks can now be assigned to AI agents, not just humans. Just like you tag a colleague, you can tag a Cursor agent, GitHub Copilot agent, or Canva agent in a ticket. The system shows you which agent is executing which step.
Example flow — a bug appears in Jira (manually or from test agent) → assigned to test agent → passed to Cursor agent for code fix → assigned to deploy agent → assigned back to test agent for retesting → closed automatically. Humans set the context and approve — AI executes.
Jira Service Management now has three layers of AI-powered incident management. Alert Grouping: instead of 100 alerts flooding your engineers at 2 AM, the system groups them semantically into 5 real problems, and classifies each as signal or noise. Atlassian internally reduced 80% of their alerts to groups and saved 839 engineering hours in 6-7 months.
Incident Command Centre: one screen for incident resolution — AI-generated summary, key moments, investigation with blast-radius mapping, Rovo-powered root cause hypothesis, one-click rollback. Post-incident review (PIR) with auto-created Jira tasks also generated.
Incident Prevention Centre: before you deploy, AI does a 20+ parameter risk assessment covering technical, infrastructure, compliance (GDPR), business, and operational risks. Mitigation suggestions are generated automatically.
Atlassian is now selling at "collection level" — bundled product suites. Service Collection includes JSM, CSM (Customer Service Management), Assets, and Rovo. Product Collection includes Jira Product Discovery (JPD), Feedback, and Rovo.
CSM adds multi-channel support (email, SMS, WhatsApp, voice) with a shared AI agent keeping context across channels. Modern Asset Management adds out-of-the-box hardware lifecycle management — procurement, operations, disposal — from one dashboard. Solution Composer lets Rovo set up entire JSM service desks from a single prompt.
Feedback is a new product that collects customer input from all channels (Zoom interviews, Teams calls, support tickets) into one place, uses AI to surface patterns, and links insights directly to JPD for roadmap decisions.
Teamwork Graph can now scan your entire codebase semantically. Atlassian scans 11 million files and 1.5 billion lines of code. Non-technical leaders can ask questions like "which Confluence buttons don't match our latest style guide?" and get a full list with file paths — without touching the code.
Engineers can type TWG in their CLI to access the Teamwork Graph right from their terminal. A Jira ticket with no context? TWG finds related past tickets, identifies the code owner, links relevant Confluence docs, and maps the team that handled it before.
Every product, platform, and demo covered across the full day.
A semantic graph of your entire organization — connects Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, communication tools, and 300+ third-party apps. Not just document linking — it understands relationships, history, and team context.
Atlassian's AI assistant and gateway. Chat interface with org context, CLI tool (TWG), AI Gateway for safe LLM usage, 340+ commands, Rovo Skills, and agents. Supports 100K service agents in Service Collection.
Assign Jira issues to AI agents (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Canva, custom) just like assigning to a human. Agents hand off work to each other automatically. Visible status shows where each task is at.
Groups related alerts semantically. Classifies each group as signal or noise using LLMs + historical data from TWG. Connects to New Relic, Datadog, and other observability tools. Premium & Enterprise JSM feature.
One-screen incident management. AI summary, key moments timeline, blast-radius map, root cause hypothesis via Rovo, one-click rollback, auto-PIR generation with Jira tasks. Connected to TWG, New Relic, and Datadog.
Pre-deployment risk assessment across 20+ parameters — technical, infrastructure, compliance (GDPR), business impact. Suggests mitigation before you deploy. Risk assessment part is live; full centre coming soon.
Multi-channel support (email, portal, SMS, WhatsApp, voice) with shared AI agent keeping context across all channels. Loom's use of CSM showed 10.7% increase in engagement, 11% reduction in churn, and 83% tickets resolved by AI.
Full lifecycle hardware management in JSM — procurement, assignment, warranty tracking, disposal. One-glass panel for insights. Rovo finds available devices matching employee role/policy. Powered by Data Manager for CMDB integration with discovery tools like Lansweeper.
Set up an entire JSM service desk from a single Rovo prompt. Defines configurations, creates the space, sets up workflows — no Jira admin needed. Learns from your existing spaces for better suggestions each time.
JPD is now enhanced with agentic roadmapping — AI suggests which ideas match your KRs and helps build executive summaries. Feedback is a new product that aggregates customer insights from all channels (Teams calls, support tickets, Salesforce) and maps them to product ideas with AI.
Amoeboids' Atlassian Marketplace app. Create structured reports (PDF, Word, HTML, JSON) from Jira data using drag-and-drop templates + JQL. New AI Macro generates executive summaries, 2D workload matrices, and risk briefings from multi-field Jira inputs.
Edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files directly inside Jira tickets and Confluence pages — no download, edit, re-upload cycle. Also supports SharePoint, Google Drive, and Box-hosted files via smart links. Loom integration for AI-based contextual summaries of file attachments.
Centralise all access requests (Jira, Confluence, AWS, Salesforce, Slack, Entra) in a single JSM portal. Auto-routes requests to right managers. Automated provisioning and revocation. Full audit trail. Supports AI agent governance — tracks what access AI agents have.
The most impactful things said through the day — quotes worth remembering.
How the ideas, products, and concepts from this event apply to different roles in your organisation.
Assign test validation tasks to a test agent. Let a bug (auto-created or manual) flow through to cursor agent for fix → deploy agent → back to test agent for retest.
Use TWG CLI to find past bugs, test cases, PIRs, and quality issues across Bitbucket and Jira without asking anyone. Build a QE knowledge base automatically.
Aggregate customer feedback from Zoom interviews, support tickets, sales calls, and app store reviews into one Feedback view. Use Rovo to find which feedback aligns with your KRs. Build a Q1 roadmap with AI assistance.
Before any deployment, JSM's AI does a 20+ parameter risk check — technical, compliance, infrastructure, and business risk. Mitigation suggestions are auto-generated if risks are found.
When 100 alerts fire at 2 AM, AI groups them into 5 real problems and marks 80 as noise. The Incident Command Centre gives you a one-screen view with summary, hypothesis, blast radius, and one-click rollback.
Manage laptop procurement, assignment, warranty tracking, and disposal from one JSM dashboard. Rovo finds the right available device for each new employee based on their role and policy.
Create reusable report templates with JQL and AI macros. Generate executive summaries, workload matrices, and risk briefings from Jira data — in PDF, Word, or HTML — automatically on a schedule.
Edit Excel/Word files directly in Jira. No more "Sales_Q1_final_v3_updated.xlsx" naming chaos. One attachment, one source of truth, all edits in place.
As AI agents get more access to Jira, Confluence, and company data, govern what they can access just like you govern human users — with approval workflows, time-limited access, and full audit logs.
An employee wants to transfer cities — they raise a ticket. Rovo handles all the next steps: contacts the hiring manager, checks approvals, creates sub-tasks, and tracks all steps to closure.
Run internal learning events, knowledge-sharing sessions, or community initiatives using the same ACE Pune model — Jira for task management, JSM for registrations, Assets for speaker registry, Rovo for vendor outreach automation.
A customer starts on your website chatbot, continues on WhatsApp, and gets a resolution from an internal agent in Jira — all while preserving context across every channel. AI handles 83% of tickets automatically (Loom's experience).
The big learnings — what was new, what was practical, and what you should act on.
Humans set the context, take decisions, and consider tradeoffs. AI handles execution tasks. The best results come from this collaboration — not from full automation.
LLMs are available to everyone. What sets your organization apart is your context — decisions, history, codebase, and culture. Teamwork Graph is how you capture and use it.
Type TWG in your terminal to access 340+ commands across your Atlassian ecosystem. Best use case: get full context on any Jira ticket without talking to anyone — past tickets, code, owners, and docs all surfaced instantly.
Atlassian's "thali model" — Service Collection, Product Collection. You get everything in the bundle. Modern Asset Management, Solution Composer, Incident Command Centre — all included if you buy the right collection.
Alert Grouping has been live for over a year at Atlassian. 80% of their alerts are now clustered. Average incident acknowledgement time dropped from 4-5 hours to 1 hour. Not a future feature — use it now if you have JSM Premium or Enterprise.
All Atlassian learning resources — courses, certifications, use cases — are free at community.atlassian.com. Team '26 Anaheim has 20+ free session recordings available. Champions with 13+ certifications have shown the path.
ACE Pune manages its entire community event process — from hotel selection to speaker management to vendor outreach — using Jira, Confluence, Assets, and Rovo. If champions can do this, your team can do it for your internal processes too.
This is already possible. Third-party agents (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Canva), your own custom agents, and MCP-supported agents can all receive Jira tickets. You can even add them to Jira workflows — same as assigning to a team group.
